This is an incremental method for learning to play lead guitar. Level 2 uses the CAGED system to teach the five basic positions of the major and minor pentatonic scales and chords. You will find chord and scale charts, and licks that use each scale. Audio tracks and tablature are provided that contain all the exercises and licks. Their are also backing tracks with chord progressions to play along with, to further develop improvisational skills. (See the menu to access the 11 modules currently available).

Here are some other Levels that are in various stages of development:

• Level 3 – Learn to play licks that move between the five basic positions of the major and minor pentatonic scales. Also includes more diverse chord progressions to improvise with.
• Level 4 – Build on your knowledge of the pentatonic scales to learn to play the full major and minor scales and modes. Introduces richer chord voicings including major and minor 7th chords.
• Level 5 – Learn to play between the various modes while playing along with backing tracks using more complex chords and progressions.
• Supplemental Daily Guitar Workout Routine with progressive levels of difficulty, developing finger strength, dexterity and speed.
